These songs are demos that were recorded in the summer of 1987 after the JATO album was released. Because they were digitized from cassette work tapes there is severe deterioration. Jerry recorded the tracks in Darryl Goede's 24-track studio which was adjacent to our reheasal space. We were starting to write songs for the next JATO project. Sad Parade and Desiree featured live horn parts with Sean McAnally on trumpet, Jim Pinchin on sax and Al Jacobson on trombone. Careless Touch and Sad Parade had 3-part background vocals from the AlleyScats. One Time has programmed bass, keyboard and drums with vocals and guitar overdubbed.
